bella neergaard

neurodiversity educator and facilitator

I translate neurodivergent lived experience — making the parts of autism, ADHD and late diagnosis that are often hidden or misunderstood easier to recognise, understand and relate to.

Ways to work with me:

For Individuals

Spaces, resources and practices for people looking for more supportive ways to understand and work with their brain and body.

For Workplaces & Professionals

Educational presentations for organisations who want to better understand neurodivergent experiences and feel more confident supporting them.

Neurodivergence beneath the surface

Someone can be sociable and overwhelmed.
Productive and burnt out.
Independent and struggling.

Much of what we learn about autism and ADHD begins with what can be observed from the outside:

behaviour, traits and diagnostic criteria.

My work is interested in what those things feel like from the inside.

Through education, storytelling and lived experience, I help make these less visible experiences easier to recognise — both for neurodivergent people themselves and for the people who live and work alongside them.

Understanding neurodivergence means asking not only what we can see, but what the person is experiencing underneath.

Neurodivergent Burn-Out Workbook
DKK 125.00

Do you find yourself full of energy and capacity one day, and completely drained the next without always understanding what changed?

Do you struggle to recognise the signs that you’re becoming overwhelmed or burnt out until you’re already deep in it?

This digital workbook is designed to help you notice, understand and respond to your own patterns of burnout.

Rather than giving you another list of things you should be doing, it invites you to look at what burnout actually feels like for you — and how your capacity can shift depending on stress, sensory demands, expectations, environment and support.

Through practical exercises and reflections, you’ll begin exploring ways to create a life that works more sustainably with your needs, limits and rhythms, rather than continually pushing against them.

Please note: This is a digital PDF. After purchasing, you’ll receive an email with a download link. Please download the file within 24 hours.

Neurodivergent Burn-Out Workbook

Somewhere between “I’m fine” and complete burn-out, there are usually signs.

This practical digital workbook helps you notice your own patterns of burn-out, understand what affects your capacity, and respond before you’re already deep in crisis.

Through reflection and practical tools, you’ll explore how to work more sustainably with your needs, limits and rhythms.

“Reading this e-book feels a bit like getting a big hug while also receiving practical, tangible tools for managing your energy.”

About Bella:

I’m Bella, a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD educator, facilitator, peer practitioner and yoga teacher based in Copenhagen.

My work brings together lived experience with professional peer practice, academic research and body-based facilitation.

Across all of it, I’m especially interested in the experiences that are difficult to see from the outside: hidden effort, changing capacity, burnout, late diagnosis and the relationship between brain, body and environment.
